Facility Information
The 309,000 square foot Leduc Recreation Centre is a one-stop multi-use recreation experience for people of all ages. The new facility is the central gathering place for the community and provides many leisure and recreational opportunities.
- NHL-sized performance arena with seating for 1,800
- Twin NHL-sized arenas with seating for 300 (each side)
- Two indoor field houses used for:
- indoor soccer- lacrosse- basketball- banquets- trade shows- concerts- Aquatic centre including a lane pool, leisure pool, waterslide, two whirlpools and a steam room
- Eight-sheet curling complex
- 9,000 square foot fitness centre with cardio and resistance training equipment and free weights
- Program and meeting rooms
- Children's play area and child minding centre
- Four-lane running/walking track
- Youth/Education centre containing a school space and the Boys and Girls Club
- Lease spaces offering physiotherapy, sports training, and food and beverage services
