This service is available for children ages 2 months to 7 years for up to three hours per day.
Parents must remain within the Leduc Recreation Centre the entire time that their child is in our care.

The LRC offers a fun and safe environment for children while their parents participate in any of the centre's many recreation programs and leisure opportunities in our RE/MAX Play Centre.

We offer single admission or 10-hour punch passes.
Single admissions are based on the total time at the end of your child's visit. Payment is made at Guest Services.
Punch passes are available at Guest Services and are stored on-site for your convenience.
Staffing
Each of our child minding staff members has successfully completed a RCMP security clearance, has current first aid certification and participated in training workshops designed for those working with children.
We meet the adult-to-child rations recommneded by the Alberta Government:

If space permits during regular hours, parents can drop in and access child minding services.
Parents can pre-book and pay for their child's care for an individual day a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of one week in advance.
Parents can pre-book, pay and guarantee their child's care to coincide with session-long program registration or regular visits to teh facility. This option is only available to annual members.

Check-in/out process
Upon arrival, staff will record:
- your location in the ubilding.
Our staff will place a wristand on your child's wrist. Once your child is signed in, you are welcome to enter the child-minding area with your child to get them settled.
Check-out process
Please check in with the child-minding staff. You may then pick-up your child and their belongings and return to the waiting area to sign out. Our staff will remove your child's wristband and record the sign-out time.
Staff will calculate the total time your child spent in our care and the amount owing. There is a 5 minute grace-period, anything over 5 minutes will be charged to the next half-hour.
If paying for a single admission, staff will provide you with a total, which is to be paid at Guest Services. Upon returning to the child-minding centre with your receipt, your child will be signed out of our care.
Activities
Your child will enjoy unstructured program activitities, books, toys, puzzles and colouring
Health & Safety
Toys and equipment are disinfected daily to ensure a clean and safe environment. If your child is ill, please refrain from bringing him or her in.
Medications will not be distributed or administered by staff, with the exception of the EpiPen.
Snacks & Meals
Parents are encouraged to pack a snack for your child. Snacks with nut products are not permitted. We are not equipped to serve lunch or breakfast, but the lobby is available for you and your child to enjoy snacks or meals together.
What to Bring
Socks (shoes are not permitted in the indoor playground)
If your child has a special toy, you are welcome to bring it along; however, please be aware we cannot be responsible for lost, shared, stolen or damaged toys.
