This co-ed, self organized, non contact hockey is for youth 13-17 years of age. This is a non-competitive recreational hockey opportunity, perfect for players of all abilities. This shinny opportunity is a great time for home schooled or high school students who have a class spare and would like to practice their hockey skills.
*Full equipment is required.

The City of Leduc operates four skating arenas:
  • Sobey's Arena (located in the LRC)
  • The LRC DQ Arena (located in the LRC)
  • The LRC Ken's Furniture Arena (located in the LRC)
  • The Alexandra Arena (located at 1 Alexandra Park)

Adult & Child STICK N' PUCK Guidelines

Stick ‘n Puck sessions are for players 10 years of age and under.  These sessions give children along with their parents an opportunity to practice together, any Hockey or Ringette skill they need to work on.

  * Full equipment is required for all youth on the ice.  Adults are required to wear a CSA approved hockey helmet.

  • Participants are required to bring their own stick and puck/ring.
  • Stick ‘n Puck sessions are limited to a maximum of 25 skaters on the ice, in order to maintain a safe environment for everyone on the ice.
  • Games are not allowed in order to allow each player to work on the skill of their choice.
  • Adults are required to be on the ice at all times with their child(ren).
  • Adult to child ratio is 1:2
  • Regular admissions apply

Full Equipment Required

CSA approved hockey helmet with full face mask, neck guard, hockey pants, support cup, hockey gloves, shin/elbow/shoulder pads, and a regulation ice hockey stick/ringette stick.
